School Council

At The Ridge we recognise the importance of our children's voice and we use our School Council to involve our children in the decision making process. Each class elects representatives in a formal election that takes place during the first weeks of the academic year. All children are able to stand for election and all children are allowed to vote for one member from their class. These children are voted for by their fellow class members in a democratic ballot.  Congratulations to the successful candidates for this year!

Term 4 Update:

The School Council met with Alex Chalk, our Local MP, Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice . They asked him a range of questions they had prepared, including those wanting to know more about the war in Ukraine, what his duties as an MP are and how he spends his time working in the local area.
