Curriculum Intent

The LIFE program aims to aid the development of well rounded, respectful and healthy students that are prepared for life outside of education. Through a combination of SMSC (spiritual, moral, social and cultural), PHSE (personal, health and social education) and careers guidance students will discover their interests and talents, develop resilience, confidence and independence, and become ready to succeed in the next step of their educational journey.
The students will have the opportunity to question, discuss and develop their ideas, analyse their choices and set their own ambitious goals whilst growing an understanding of how to maintain both physical and mental health.
Our students will understand the fundamental British values and will foster an appreciation of diversity, value and promote equality and ultimately become responsible, active, contributing citizens.
