Every year, we aim to immerse our students in the rich cultural landscape offered by being on London’s doorstep!
Each Summer, we host an Activities’ Week when students in Key Stage 3 and 4 have the opportunity to visit a different museum or gallery each year. Each visit begins or culminates with a picnic in a Royal Park such as Hyde Park, Green Park and Kensington Gardens. Our Sixth Formers use this opportunity to visit different universities and destinations designed to inspire their journey beyond Lift Kingsley.
Year 7: Natural History Museum
Year 8: British Museum
Year 9: Science Museum
Year 10: V&A Museum
Our wider trips encompass a wide range of opportunities and experiences. In Key Stage Three, our students are offered the opportunity to celebrate the cultural landscape of London through trips to see ‘The Lion King’ in the West End and, in Year 8, they enjoy an annual trip to a Christmas Pantomime, immersing themselves in the spirit of Christmas tradition.
In Key Stage 4, our students have a wealth of opportunities to engage in residential activities and trips such as: our Year 10 DHL Outward Bound residential and our Year 11 PGL trip, designed to consolidate supportive relationships, team-work along with individual and collective goals and ambitions.
