School uniform and a smart appearance are very important to Lift Kingsley. Uniform identifies our students and we want them to take pride in it. It is important therefore that parents/carers and students understand the following information :
Between leaving home in the morning and arriving back in the afternoon, students are expected to wear their FULL school uniform.
Students should also remember that while in Lift Kingsley's uniform they are representing the school.
You can now purchase all items of our school uniform from the School Bells Uniform shop in Hounslow:
48 Bell Road, Hounslow, Middlesex, TW3 3PB
Also you can now purchase all items of our school uniform online from School Bells at : www.schoolbellsuniforms.co.uk
Email: prashant@schoolbellsuniforms.co.uk or info@schoolbellsuniforms.co.uk

Notes:
Parents/Carers are reminded that the only compulsory items of uniform are a blazer, tie and PE top.
Please make sure that all personal property (uniform, games kit, bags, writing equipment, books, etc.) is clearly marked with your child’s name.
Did you know that you may be able to apply for a uniform grant from the London Borough of Hounslow? The school clothing grant is payable to secondary school pupils in years seven and nine only.
Your child may qualify for a clothing grant, if you receive:
Income support
Income based Job seekers allowance
Income based Employment support allowance

In addition the school does have a limited stock of quality second hand uniforms, please email contactus@liftkingsley.org for more information. Alternatively if your child has outgrown their blazer for instance and it is still in good condition we may be able to swap it out for a bigger size. Please donate any unwanted uniform that is clean and reusable to the school office and we will then ensure it is offered out to other families.
At Lift Kingsley every student needs to have a school bag, big enough to hold their exercise books, folders and the following equipment.
The below equipment list is compulsory to all students and will be checked daily during tutor time:
Student Planner
2 x Black Pens
2 x Red Pen
2 x Pencil
2 x Highlighters

Students must also carry a reading book and their knowledge organisers which will be used during all lessons.

We suggest that students also have a bilingual dictionary if English is an additional language.
