Welcome to our Charles Warren Academy website. We hope that this website will give you an idea of life here at CWA and will provide you with a taste of our exciting learning environment and ethos.

Our school is situated in the beautiful area of Simpson, surrounded by trees and bordering the canal. We cater for children aged 4-11 years old and we have high expectations for all with an inclusive outlook.

We aspire for CWA to be an inspirational and exciting place to learn where children can achieve their very best. Our children are enthusiastic, hardworking and want to succeed. Standards continue to rise and the staff work tirelessly to achieve our shared vision and aims.

We hope you enjoy your visit to our website. Please feel free to contact the school directly with any queries you may have. Thank you for visiting.

We are delighted to have won two National awards from SSAT for progress and Closing the Gap 2015.

We have also been successful in gaining the EYFS Quality Mark and the Quality Mark for the whole school! (July 2016)

Charles Warren Academy is a "good school" judged by Ofsted in June 2014 and confirmed again in March 2018.

"All groups of pupils make good progress and by the time they leave they are well prepared for the next stage of their education." Ofsted June 2014

The school shares a "commitment to ensuring that every pupil achieves the best that they can." Ofsted March 2018

At Charles Warren we strive to ensure that every child succeeds and that they are able to learn through a rich, stimulating curriculum. We recognise that all children have their own special talents and we believe that the primary school experience should enable our children to thrive within our learning culture.

"Pupils say that they love coming to school. One pupil said : this school is amazing. When I first arrived I felt uncomfortable, but soon settled in." Ofsted March 2018

We believe that all our young learners should have experiences that promote independence, life skills, cooperation and resilience. We are developing our curriculum so that the children will achieve their very best and will learn to make their best better.

"Teachers challenge us in lessons to make us think a lot. This inspires me to work harder." Ofsted March 2018

We hope that in developing our website we can help keep our parents informed and build on home school partnerships.
