Agrupamento de Escolas de Parede

"Agrupamento de Escolas de Parede” (AEP) is located in Parede, municipality of Cascais, Portugal. It hosts 2170 students and 187 teachers in different study paths: basic education and high school. In high school we have human sciences, economic sciences, science and technology, design and technical courses (ICT, Health and Graphic Design)

The AEP includes different types of skills and educational sensibilities. We are an inclusive school and as such the presence of disabled students and others with special educational needs is significant. This encourages a wide range of interactive lessons, debate and inquiry based learning. All the school activities are inspired by the RRI principles that focuses on governance, public engagement, gender equality, ethics, open access and scientific education.

Our school has Chemical, Biological and Physics Laboratories, several classrooms for Computer Science and all classrooms are equipped with wi-fi network, computer, multimedia boards and several LIMs are available. We are a forward facing school and believe that it is in the pupils' best educational interest to be involved in several international projects.
