VI Liceum Ogólnokształcące was established in 1948. We have consistently been the best secondary school in our city over the last twenty years and attract the best and brightest students in the region. We offer the general education programme. The learning pathways include: medical classes with Biology and Chemistry as lead subjects, classes with advanced IT and Maths, polytechnic classes with Maths, Physics and IT, a debating class focusing on Oxford-style debates and an interdisciplinary class comprising three clubs: Literature and History, Business Studies and Economics and Architecture.
Our educational offer includes obligatory lessons taught by experts from Bydgoszcz, Toruń, Poznań and Warsaw universities we tightly cooperate with. The languages taught at school are English, French and German. We are fully prepared to cater for the needs of all our students, also those with SEN. We have a science lab, three IT labs, a great library/multimedia centre. Our students are not only keen learners, after lessons they participate in cultural projects and events, sports activities, competitions, volunteering activities and international projects. An important and very active school body is our school student council.
Our wonderful pupils have created an online book highlighting some of the beautiful areas of Poland and of our home city, Bydgoszczy. We encourage you to take a look at some of our work.
