UCAS allows five choices, four if students are applying for medicine, dentistry or veterinary science, fifth choice can be any other course, usually related.

If applying for professional degrees, check that they are recognised in Singapore if you are hoping to practice here upon graduation.
You will submit 1 Personal Statement. Higher Ed's Personal Statement Slides 2025 and Worksheet here.
Students will request for 1 academic reference.
Check if your course/university needs admissions tests (UCAT, LNAT etc)

15 October - Actual Deadline , Submit and Pay your UCAS by 1 October - Internal Deadline**
For courses at the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge, or for most courses in medicine, veterinary medicine/science and dentistry. Complete Higher Ed's Google form released on 19th July by 1 August letting us know if you are applying in the early round for these options. You will also submit your other 4 options by this deadline. If you need to discuss this please meet with a counsellor to do so.
14 January - Actual Deadline , Submit and Pay your UCAS by 29 December - Internal Deadline**
'on time' deadline for most undergraduate courses. Most of you will be applying during this window.
You will only choose one deadline from the above instead of have two deadlines. e.g. If you are applying to Oxford/Medicine, you will submit all your choices on UCAS by the 1st October deadline. Most of our students applying before this deadline. Your final IB results will be ready to be used as well.
30 June
late deadline for most undergraduate courses. Not alot of options will be available during this window. Applications received after this deadline will automatically go into "clearing", so you will not be guaranteed your first choice.
**Even though the actual deadlines are 16 October or 31 January, Higher Ed needs to upload your reference on UCAS and do the final submission on UCAS for you. We are processing around 100 references during these times and need time to ensure everything is uploaded and sent accurately. Hence, you must adhere to our internal deadlines shown above.

2025 Entry [NEW]
If you are considering applying for a STEM or Economics undergraduate course at Cambridge and Imperial, you may need to take the Engineering and Science Admissions Test (ESAT) or the Test of Mathematics for University Admission (TMUA) for 2025 entry. Please refer to the respective university websites for more information on these requirements.
There are two sittings for the ESAT and the TMUA: one in October and one in January.
The deadline to register online for the October 2024 sitting of these admissions tests is 16 September 2024. Don’t miss this deadline.
This is particularly important for students requiring access arrangements as registration closes earlier (29 August) and requires a few extra steps.
The ESAT and the TMUA are multiple-choice computer-based tests used by selected Cambridge and Imperial departments for 2025 entry. The tests are offered at over 5,500 Pearson VUE locations in more than 180 countries and administered by UAT-UK, a joint venture led by Imperial and Cambridge.
You can learn more about the ESAT and the TMUA, how to register and deadlines for each sitting on the UAT-UK website.
Visit the UAT-UK website https://esat-tmua.ac.uk/
NTU's UCAT Flyer with lots of helpful info on the test and registration.

JARDINE SCHOLARSHIP
Applications for the 2025-26 academic year will close on 20th October 2024. If you are interested in applying, please email junita.lingam@acsinternational.edu.sg by Wed, 18 September 2024.
Students with Predicted Grades 40 points or more (IBDP) are eligible to apply to Oxbridge. Our records indicate that successful applicants typically fall within this grade range. However, remember that there is a university for everyone, and the key is to find the right fit where you will thrive. If you're uncertain about your eligibility, please consult with one of the Higher Education Counsellors.
UCAS will contact you with any offers from your chosen universities or colleges.
If your offer is ‘unconditional’, you can relax as your place on the course is confirmed.
Some offers are ‘conditional’ – usually this means your offer is confirmed as long as you achieve certain results in your current studies or in English language tests.
Once you have decided to accept an offer then you can respond to it through the UCAS website.
Generally, UK unis have till 16 May to respond with an outcome. By this date you should have received all your outcomes and if received outcomes by 16 May you usually have till 6 June to accept your offer.
If you do not receive any offer, you may take part in Clearing via UCAS. This is when you can identify colleges/universities with vacancies in particular areas of study.
You will start your visa application after receiving your Letter of Acceptance. You will also need to get confirmation on your on-campus accomodation as some need payment to secure your on-campus accomodation spot.
There are lots of pre-departure briefings that take place before you head to the UK. Usually held by British Council and your UK university. Look out for an email invite on these events.
