Choosing the most useful and reliable information for your Personal Project
When you have located a variety of resources that could be suitable for your Personal Project research, the next step is to evaluate each source and decide which will be the most USEFUL and RELIABLE.
You must have at least FIVE sources, including at least two different types of sources, correctly referenced in your bibliography.
Use the following questions to choose the best sources to use.
- Is the source reliable and is the information accurate?
- Is the information current, or is it still valuable (if it is older)?
- Will the information help you respond to your inquiry question?
- Does the information connect clearly with your Global Context or aspects of it?
- Does the information relate to your topic?
- Will the information help you to develop your project product?
- Apply the OPVL test (see below)
