Unlike human navigation, crawlers do not collect cookies.

If your cookies are used to adjust content, Googlebot will not be able to see it and will access the "default" version.

2 - Recommendations

If possible, you must present the same content to users. Your cookies should not be used to restrict access or edit content (except password-protected space as a personal area where Googlebot should not go).

Examples:

• Custom breadcrumb trail based on browsing history
• Custom site section based on history or user profile
