The <title> tag is one of the most important tags to optimize in terms of SEO semantics. The search engines attach great importance to it.
This tag is located in the HTML header of the page (between <head> and </ head>) and therefore does not appear in the body of the page. You can view it in the title tab of the browser. Unlike some people might say, it's not a meta tag.
It appears in the following form in the source code and appears in blue above the URL and the Meta-Description in the search results (purple if you have already visited the page):

Some guidelines should be respected to write SEO-friendly <title> tags:
- Write a UNIQUE title per page ,
- Identify precisely the subject of the page,
- If possible, respect a limit of 60 characters - spaces included,
- Use strategic keywords related to the topic of the page,
- Do not repeat the same keyword several times,
- Avoid keyword enumerations (example: child pants, cheap pants, boy pants ...),
- Place the most important and most specific content at the top/beginning of the page
- Place the site name at the end of the title tag, do not lead with it,
- For the homepage, summarise your core business in a few words
