In this module, you will get to learn ab out how people behave. It is not a physiology lecture, rather, a collection of work done by several people who were trying to understand how we think, behave, and can be better.
First step will be learning about the personality traits. This is the scientific way of describing the general characteristics of human behavior. The model used to describe the personality will be "The Big Five Theory". (Go to topic)
Then you will be introduced to a less scientific way of describing the behavior of people. "The DISC Personality Model" will be used to identify different personality types. This model is quite easy to understand, and it works extremely well for the identification of people's preferences. (Go to topic)
In this module, you will also get to learn about how your brain works under different conditions. The model used is based on the book :You Brain at Work" by David Rock. The book introduces you to the brain as a stage where actors and audience interact in a play. (Go to topic)
You will also get to learn about how your brain may work against you if you do not take control. This model was introduced by Shirzad Chamin in his book "Positive Intelligence. The model introduces ten different ways your brain may sabotage your life with very good excuses. (Go to topic)
Finally, this module will get you to the world of making a better YOU. This will be approached using Stephen Covey's model from the book "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. After learning those habits, you will be ready to create a new and better tomorrow for yourself and those around you. (Go to topic)
