Attendance

Argyll and Bute Education Service is working with schools and other services to ensure all children and young people attend school as regularly as possible.  Parents and carers are the most important influence on children’s lives and learning and we want to work together with you to secure the best outcomes for all of our children.  The resources below raise awareness of the benefits of going to school, and provide support for parents, carers and young people to help.

If your child is struggling with school attendance you should always speak to their school in the first instance. They will be able to work with you to overcome any barriers.
