Our Parent Voice group play a very important role in supporting pupils, parents and families across the school.
The Parent Council’s role is to;
support the school in its works with parents/carers
represent and share the views of parents/carers
encourage links between school, parents/carers, pupils and the wider community
report back to parents/carers
Regular meetings are held at the beginning of each month to discuss a range of topics linked to the school, community and educational initiatives. A Groupcall is sent to parents giving details about what date and time the meeting will be held. New members are always welcome as Parent voice is integral to all that we do at Seaton.
If you would like to join the Parent Council or would like more information, please contact our Chairperson- natashaaaahardie@hotmail.co.uk
Newly updated at the front of the school is our Pupil Council and Parent Voice display. As requested by parents, we have included a 'You Said, We Did' section to give a quick overview to parents about what has been suggested through parental feedback and what we have actioned from it. Minutes from both the Pupil Council meetings and also Parent Voice meetings are also displayed for parents to review if they missed the meeting. Our Pupil Council also created a pupil friendly School Improvement Plan and Overview of the school to showcase what makes us Seaton.
Please take a look at the minutes from our meetings this session. Included in the minutes are Head Teacher updates from Mrs Bennett.
