We are proud to share that we have been successful with our Learning for Sustainability project and have been awarded the ECO Green Flag. The pupils across the school worked really hard and engaged in a variety of learning for sustainability projects which has raised awareness and motivation to become ECO Friendly. Our next steps are to continue to follow the ECO Schools journey and set new sustainability targets for the years ahead.
Seaton School are proud to share that after setting goals and targets linked with our Learning for Sustainability project we have been successful at achieving the Cycling Friendly School award!
We have installed scooter parking to encourage pupils to be more active when travelling to school.
The pupils in the ECO Pupil Participation Group worked together to created a shared vision for how we want to care for our world. We created an ECO Code for the school. The ECO Code is focused around our three target areas of Active Travel, Litter and Waste and Biodiversity.
The ECO Code was shared at an assembly for all of the pupils and is displayed in all of the classrooms. We hope this encourages pupils and staff at Seaton to be ECO friendly.
The ECO Pupil Participation Group at Seaton School set three target areas to further develop Learning for Sustainability across the school for the year 24/25.
We created an action plan for the year ahead with the hope of achieving the ECO Schools Green Flag Award.
