Welcome to Seaton School!
To help guide you through all things Seaton we have created a Parent Handbook. Our Handbook details everything you need to know about getting started at Seaton for pupils and families and also gives information about the curriculum, events and our priorities.
Please let us know if you have any questions or if we can support you in any way.
Courses available will support you to have a better understanding of your child's feelings and behaviour and raise them to be emotionally aware, sociable and confident. Courses are also tailored for all stages of a child's development to help all family members through reflective, supportive learning without judgement.
This website also offers an 'Auto-Translation' option using Google Translate.
To access the resource, you will need to enter your details to sign up and use the code 'TARTAN' for free access.
If you and your child have any concerns or would like support, please contact SLT through the school office as we would be happy to help.
In partnership with GREC (Grampian Regional Equality Council) we are thrilled to announce the launch of our Seaton Community Café. Our aim of the café is to offer advice and support to parents and families in a relaxed setting. Each week we will be sharing information, hints and tips and guidance about initiatives, funding and supports that are available to you and your family. Each week there will be a different theme to the session, themes will be flexible as to the needs of families to ensure that we are offering relevant and quick advice that will help you the most. The theme each week will be shared with you in advance so you will know which sessions will be most appropriate for you. Support will be available during the sessions if English is an additional language to you. Tea’s, coffee, bacon rolls and a vegetarian option will be offered during the Community Café session.
Our Community Café will be open every Tuesday from 9.15am to 10.15am in school. Our Community Café will launch next Tuesday 22nd April and will be an introductory session focusing on finding out more about how we can help and support you and sharing some information about Charities across the City.
If you are unable to attend the sessions, please take a look at the meeting minutes below.
We look forward to seeing you at the sessions and please contact Mrs Duncan through the school office if you have any questions.
In light of the rising cost of living, as a school community, it is our aim to support one another so that our families and children can access help when they need it. You will find below various initiatives which offer assistance, should anyone require it.
We urge any family who may be experiencing difficulties to reach out with any concerns. Any discussions will be treated in the strictest of confidence. If you would like to speak to a member of SLT confidentially, please complete the Google Form opposite and we will contact you privately.
