Because we are unable to go on our annual Hazlehead House Picnic we were challenged to leave Google Classroom and go out on a picnic with our family. We had to create a healthy menu and eat out in the sun.
LI I understand that to keep healthy I need to eat the right foods.

We have been looking at what personal qualities are and identifying our own.
We read about different inspirational people and also those who can be seen as role models.
We then thought of who inspires us and why.
LI: I can remember difficult times in a positive way.
We gathered objects that will remind us of this time.
We plan to look back at our time capsules in a few years to remind ourselves of how strong we were to get through a difficult situation like this.
This week we have been creating our very own ‘guide’ for how we have kept a healthy, positive mind throughout the last 12 weeks of being in lockdown.
The Questions we asked:
What is your ‘go-to’ activity that helps you relax?
How else have you kept yourself busy? What types of exercise have you done?
How have you kept in contact with friends?
If you have had times of struggle, how did you help yourself?
One of our key worker children was asked to record her experiences an an NHS key worker child. The learning here gives an insight into what happens to the family of NHS workers and how this set-up has been designed to keep key workers and their families. She also identifies some of the shortcomings of the system.
