Our School

Brimmond School currently comprises 4 main teaching areas; Nursery, Elrick (P1-3), Scolty (P3-5/6), Bennachie (P6-7)

In addition to the 16 classrooms there is a library area, a training kitchen for pupils which can also be used by our parent council and fundraising group, a gym hall which also serves as an assembly hall, a dining hall with a large outdoor eating area, a Music Room and two Targeted Support Room. The school also has an administration office, Janitor’s office, School Leadership Team (SLT) offices, staffroom, meeting rooms and staff resource room. There is a school kitchen and meals are prepared on site.

Outdoor playground areas are varied with grass, AstroTurf, hard surface with markings for games, play equipment with soft surface and a large 3G Multi Use Games Area (MUGA). The nursery has an enclosed play area with sand and water areas, soft surface with wooden play equipment and a grass area. The nursery also has supervised access to the main school grounds and MUGA.
