Course Offerings

DIRECTED ENSEMBLES ARE DESIGNED FOR ARTISTS DEDICATED TO BEING PART OF A PERFORMING ENSEMBLE, AND EXTEND ACROSS MULTIPLE TRIMESTERS OR MEET 4 DAYS/WEEK WITHIN ONE TRIMSTER. THERE IS A SIGNIFICANT TIME COMMITMENT.

Student participation in a directed ensemble emphasizes continued skill development and refinement through a variety of higher-level skills, techniques, and performance qualities. There is an emphasis on performance in these ensembles.

Ready to level up your craft? Once each quarter, Studio 39 will host special Saturday Master Classes and/or Community Art Events; unique, one-time workshops led by professional artists and experts across all kinds of creative fields. Whether you’re into music, dance, film, visual art, writing, theater, or something in between, these sessions are designed to inspire, challenge, and deepen your artistic practice.

A Master Class or Community Art Opportunity is your chance to learn directly from an artist in the field—someone with real-world experience, industry insight, and a fresh perspective. Each class is different, so come ready to explore something new, expand your skills, and be creatively pushed in the best way.
