WEST MICHIGAN LEAGUE RULES

• • • • • • • • 1. Coaches behavior that is a poor example will be addressed and if needed ejected. This is not the league for unsportsmanlike adults. Coaches are responsible for directing their immature adult fans or we will address them and eject them. 

                2. Each team needs a parent volunteer at the table.

                3. 18 minute Running Clock (except live last minute of the game if within 8 points.) 

                4. Sub at “dead balls” not on the run 

                5. Coaches have two :30 TO's each ½ 

                6. Ball out on common fouls (unless officials deem flagrant or excessive) 

                7. Foul on made basket is automatic “and 1”* unless in stopped clock sito (last minute/ OT) in which case all FTs must be shot like a real game

                8. Foul on a missed FG attempt is one FT for 2 (or 3) pts. 

                9. Stopped clock (under 1 minute/OT) common foul with is 2 FTs. NO AUTO POINTS DURING STOPPED CLOCK.

                10. One FT on shooting fouls worth 2 or 3 points.(*Last minute of game and OT will shoot all FT’s because clock is stopped) 

                11. OT will be 2:00 or until one team leads by at least 2 points. Second OT will be sudden victory by 1 (or more) point 

                12. Flagrant fouls ejected for that game at the discretion of official . 

                13. Each team must bring a game ball. No balls provided. 

                14. 3rd / 4th League: Girls Ball, no passive zones, pick up point at half court. Can press last minute if behind. 

                15. 5th and 6th Leagues: Girls Ball (unless both coaches are in agreement to use boys), all defenses allowed.

                16. RULES DURING STOPPED CLOCK (Last Minute of game within 8 and OT) 

A. If stopped clock sito the fouled player must shoot all FT's.  NO AUTOMATIC POINTS

 B. 2 Shots on all Common Fouls during stopped clock

 C. If a player is fouled on the shot they will be awarded 2 (or three FTs)
