MIDDLE SCHOOL 7th AND 8th GAMES/CAMP

78er INFORMATION

AFTER 78er SEASON

COST: $100

Includes:

In order to help you and your teammates improve we will again have  “Second Season” and SUMMER games/Camp for those looking to eventually try out for the High School teams. If you are serious about pursuing a high school basketball you will want to commit to much more than the short 78er season.

We are looking for candidates that may be interested in eventually trying out for the High School teams. If the team gets too big we may split them so everyone gets multiple opportunities to play on game days.

We will have games at The Courthouse in Byron Center starting in January ("Second Season") and June/July Summer). Generally, practices will be held once or twice a week as well. Transportation is not provided so parents will need to participate, share rides etc.

The cost is $100.00 per player to cover the sign up fee in the league. Checks should be made out to Wyoming Basketball and turned into Coach DeYoung or Athletic Office at the JH along with bottom portion. If we continue to have interest after Session I we may play Session II (additional $50) as well.

Please fill out the bottom AND INCLUDE PAYMENT if you are interested ($100 to Wyoming Basketball) and hand into Coach DeYoung or Athletic Office at the JH.

Wyoming Wolves Second Season/ Summer Information

Attention all Wolves 78er Basketball Players!

7th and 8th WOLVES Second Season and Summer:  all Wyoming Wolves A and B team members and other boys interested will be given the opportunity to commit to Second Season (January-March), Spring and Summer Schedules.

There are opportunities available for those who are interested in continuing their basketball careers.

1. Really consider joining a Spring sport. Multiple sport athletes have a tendency to be tougher and more competitive than single sport athletes. Your grades are generally better and your self-discipline is developed.

2. If you are not going to participate in a spring sport we would assume you are working on your basketball game. (Be wary of some travel/AAU teams as they may not be educationally sound nor looking out for your best interest. Often times the “coach” will have ulterior motives and may just be using kids to make themselves feel like a winner. This is also very costly as many organizations are making money for somebody at the expense of those who can pay.)

3. In order to eventually compete at the HS level and reach our potential as a team and individuals we will need commitment from players and parents.  We are looking for potential future players to commit to Wolves Basketball. Here is what we would like to want you do…fill in information above and get money to Coach DeYoung or the Athletic Office at the JH.
