HIGH SCHOOL SIGN UPS SUMMER

JV and Varsity: Wyoming Wolves Summer Information

Attention all Returning Wolves 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th graders Basketball Players!

Here are some opportunities available for those who are interested in continuing their basketball careers.

1. Really consider joining a Spring sport. Multiple sport athletes have a tendency to be tougher and more competitive than single sport athletes. Their grades are generally better and self discipline continues to be developed.

2. If you are not going to participate in a spring sport we would assume you are working on your basketball game. (Be wary of travel teams as they may not be educationally sound nor looking out for your best interest. Often times the “coach” will have ulterior motives and may just be using kids to make themselves feel like a winner. This is also very costly as many organizations are making money for somebody at the expense of those who can pay.) Choose wisely if you want to do Travel Ball. Assume you would have weight training class or be in our weight room after school at 3:00 and following our school program.

3. Varsity Candidates need to schedule your evaluation meeting with Coach Vander Klay before Spring Break. This will take about 10-15 minutes. After the meeting the Evaluation will need to be signed by a parent and possibly a parent / coach/ player meeting scheduled.

4. We are looking for potential future players to commit to Wolves Basketball. Here is what we would like to have you do…

5.Get information and Summer Schedule from Coach Vander Klay. $90 Summer payment is the Annual Summer Camp June 12-15. ($50.00 if done alone) and Summer game schedule (generally June games).

6. All Wolves should join PROGRAMAX to do off-season workouts and record progress. Get CODE from your Coach.
