Learning Goal: Students will receive feedback on their Units 1/2 tests and begin to learn about the events/factors that started to lead towards colonial resistance to the Crown.

HW- Read p. 129-135 (Second Phase). Colonial Resistance Timelines due on Wednesday (must bring a hard copy to class if completed digitally).
Tuesday 9/12
Learning Goal: Students will continue to learn about growing tensions between the colonies and the Crown.

-Thesis Statement Practice

HW- Finish Ch. 5 + Connect due tomorrow. Prepare for tomorrow’s class discussion. Topic: “Were the colonists justified in breaking away from Great Britain?” You are allowed to argue both sides.
Thursday 9/14
Learning Goal: Students will be able to discuss both viewpoints of the statement “Were the colonists justified in breaking away from British rule?”
