New Platform To Register Your Athlete- Moving to Home Campus

VUSD will be transitioning away from Aktivate/Register My Athlete for Athletic Clearances.  Beginning Tuesday, March 17, all athlete clearances will be completed through the Home Campus platform.

Families will still be able to log in to Aktivate/Register My Athlete to view or retrieve previously submitted documentation. However, we ask that all families transfer and complete their portion of their student-athlete information in Home Campus before the start of their next athletic season.

Please note the following important timelines:

• Many high school athletic teams hold tryouts immediately after the last day of school, which is June 3, 2026. All students must be cleared before trying out for a sport.

• Incoming 9th-grade students (current 8th graders) must be cleared in Home Campus before participating in any summer tryouts, practices, or workouts.

• Many high school fall sports begin with summer practices, therefore athletes must be cleared before those practices begin.

• Middle School Cross Country begins in August. All middle school cross country athletes must complete their clearance before participation. Therefore, we recommend completing the required documentation before the start of the school year.

To be cleared for participation, all student-athletes will complete the following forms/documentation in their Home Campus account:

• Pre-Participation Physical Evaluation Clearance Form

• Informed Consent Form

• Emergency Contact and Insurance Form

• Athletes' Bill of Rights (read)

• CIF Code of Ethics (High School Only)

• Athletic Policy and Code of Conduct (High School Only)

• Athletic Department Participation Contract

• Steroid Information Sheet

• Sudden Cardiac Arrest Information Form

• Parent Concussion Information

• Prescription Opioids Advisory Form
