College Visits

Seniors can use 3 college visit per year

• Mrs. Randolph recommends you do college visits in the Fall semester.

Juniors can use 2 college visit per year

• • Mrs. Randolph recommends you do at least 2 college visits in the Spring. Do not wait until your senior year to visit a college.

To use college visit, please contact Mrs. Randolph before you go on College Visits. Mrs. Randolph would be glad to help you schedule a college visit or you can schedule it yourself but just let Mrs. Randolph know the date before you go. Once you have went on your visit stop by and see Mrs.Randolph and let her know how it went.

Some questions to ask during a college visit:

• 1. What is the average class size of introductory classes?

  2. What is the average class size of upper-division courses?

  3. Is there a certain brand of laptop/computer's that are recommend?

  4. What does it take to graduate in four years?

  5. What type of tutoring program do you have?

  6. Is there a writing center to help with essays and research papers?

  7. How widely used are teaching assistants on your campus?

  8. How much time do students typically spend on homework?

  9. What type of career services do you have?

  10. What percentage of student live on campus and is it required your freshman year?

  11. What activities are offered to students?

  12. What clubs do you have on campus?

  13. Where are the best places to study on campus?

  14. What is the average college debt that students leave with?

  15. What is the last ACT score you will access for admissions or scholarships?
