Direction for Students:

• Login to your Student PowerSchool Account

• Click on the box with the arrow pointing up (top left side of the screen)

• A box will pop open and click on Xello login.

ACT Interest Inventory

The things you like to do now can give you clues about occupations you might like in the future. This inventory can help you discover your interests and find occupations you may want to explore.

The inventory consists of 72 activities. Respond to each activity even if you are uncertain how you feel about it. Don't consider your ability to do the activity - only consider your interest. Try to answer like or dislike as often as possible.

· Dislike - I would dislike doing this activity

· Indifferent - I don't care one way or the other

· Like - I would like doing this activity

ACT Abilities Inventory

This inventory can help you see how your abilities relate to occupations. Your ratings on 18 abilities will be used to suggest occupations you may want to explore. These suggestions will only be as good as the ratings you provide. Consider your level of ability, not how much you would like doing it. Estimate your ability level compared to people your age.

Select - If you think your ability is in the

• High - Upper 10%

• Above Average - Upper 25%

• Average - Middle 50%

• Below Average - Lower 25%

• Low - Lower 10%

Think twice if you rate yourself "average" on everything. Few people are that average!

ACT Values Inventory

This inventory can help you see how your values relate to occupations. The inventory consists of 22 characteristics of occupations. Rate how important each characteristic is to you. Your ratings will be used to suggest occupations likely to satisfy your values.

• Don't Want - I want to avoid work that has this.

• Not Important - I don't care if work has this or not.

• Somewhat Important - I hope to find work that has this.

• Very Important - I really want work that has this.
