For my second evidence as explained, I share an example of how I used music as an opportunity of a learning experience in my classroom after learning about it the seminar. The way I did it was the following: in class we were learning about adjectives and instead of just giving them a worksheet for them to identify adjectives, I presented the video and they wrote in their notebook the adjectives from the song. As I gave this class I noticed two things: students enjoyed the video and they were able to identify a lot of the adjectives mentioned. From the valuable informational learned from the seminar to then apply this in the classroom I witnessed how music motivated the students to be attentive and understand the material.
Both experiences and knowledge acquired from the seminars to then apply it during my practicum, as well as witnessing the results motivated me to use it in the future. Being and educator it is required constant and ongoing opportunities of learning from seminars, doing investigations and looking for valuable information. I am aware that I have a huge responsibility with my students and with society, that is why it is my personal commitment as well as responsibility to never stop seeking knowledge. In doing such things will allow me to be a better educator and person for myself as well as for my students. Throughout my years learning about this profession to then having the opportunity to do my practicum I realized that teachers must lead by example first. Therefore, if I want my students to work and do their best in my classes, I have to first model it to them.
