About this Project

An individual-based environmental-mediated transmission model was developed for Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) within an intensive care unit. The model is subsequently used to evaluate different interventions such as hand hygiene of healthcare workers and decontamination of hospital patient rooms.
