The Moore laboratory is part of the University of Michigan Medical School and is housed in the Biomedical Science Research Building (pictured at right) on the 4th floor.  

Dr. Moore has appointments both in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and within the Department of Microbiology and Immunology.  Dr. Moore also directs the Graduate Program in Immunology.  

Her laboratory is broadly interested in the pathogenesis of lung fibrosis, and in the regulation of innate and adaptive immunity post-stem cell transplant.

September 7, 2015: Congratulations to Shanna Ashley for getting her second first-author paper accepted on the role of XIAP in lung fibrosis.  It will be published in the Am. J. Respir. Cell Mol. Biol.

September 18, 2015:  Congratulations to Giovanny Martinez-Colon and Racquel Domingo-Gonzalez on their co-first author paper beting accepted to the Am. J. Respir. Crit. Care Med.

February, 2016: Congrats to Xiaofeng Zhou for being promoted to Research Investigator!

June 14, 2016: Congrats to Dr. Shanna Ashley who got her periotin-fibrocyte-myofibroblast paper published in Mucosal Immunology!

August, 2016.  Shanna got her final paper accepted on her IPF biomarker study in PLoS One!

September 28, 2016: Congrats to Steve Gurczynski for doing a great job on his oral presentation at ICLAF 2016 in Dublin, Ireland.  David O'Dwyer's poster was also really well received!  Great science and Guinness...always a popular pairing!

Nice job Steve on getting your paper on CCR2 and the regulation of herpesvirus-induced pneumonitis and fibrosis accepted at AJP Lung.  This paper was nominated as the best paper by a junior investigator published in AJP Lung in 2016!  We are very proud!

May, 2017.  David O'Dwyer just got his IPF vs. normal biomarker paper accepted in Scientific Reports!

May 8, 2017.  Beth Moore was installed as the Galen B. Toews, M.D. Collegiate Professor of Internal Medicine. This was a huge honor since Dr. Toews was her mentor and colleague for over 12 years.
