Welcome to the University of Alberta Surgery Residency Programs!
We are delighted you have shown interest in our surgical training programs that are second to none in terms of clinical volumes, caseloads, and outstanding teaching and mentorship. The research opportunities, including the Clinician Investigator Program and the Surgical Simulation Program, provide note-worthy academic enrichment and our dedicated group of surgical educators and innovators ensure a ‘cutting’ edge experience.
