As indicated in the email you should have received from Carrie Hlady, please join orientation with Dr. Clarissa Agusto at 0845 via Zoom on the first day of the rotation (if you are post-call, please ensure you let Carrie Hlady know). We encourage you join in via your personal phone/tablet while on site and then reach out to your Attending/Junior Attending/Senior Resident to arrange a time/location to meet up with the team.
No, Carrie Hlady will submit the call stipends on your behalf to AHS based on the call schedule and you can CLICK HERE to access the AHS On-Call Schedule/Pay Dates which will indicate what date you will receive remuneration based on what block.
It is imperative that you let your team know (Attending/Junior Attending/Senior Resident) as well as notify Carrie Hlady directly of any absences due to illness. If you are on call, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBLITY to try and arrange a swap with a colleague rather than just call in. If you are not able to find a swap, notify Carrie Hlady and your team as necessary.
Contact your home program to ensure that the evaluations have been distributed to Carrie Hlady for distribution.
Please ensure you let Carrie Hlady know if you will be post-call on the first day of the rotation.
If you have an X beside your name on the call schedule, that means you are cross-covering for more than one team overnight. For cross-coverage, if your name does not appear on the call schedule twice but there is a red X by your name, then you are cross-covering for a medical student - i.e. the medical student is first call and will carry the team pager, but you are their back up.
You should receive an email first thing in the morning (on the evenings where there are four residents/students on call) indicating call room assignments. If you do not
