★ お車でお越しの方

京都南ICから国道1号線に

入り、国道162号線を北上。高雄を過ぎ、1つ目のトンネルを抜けすぐの｢北山杉の里中川｣の看板を右へ。

所要時間:約40∼50分

★ バスでお越しの方

京都駅前から西日本JRバス

高雄･京北線 周山行に乗車。

｢北山中川｣で下車。

所要時間:約1時間

Access from Kyoto city

★ By bus : Take JR Bus bound for Takao, Keihoku-sen, Shuzan from Kyoto-eki-mae ( in front of Kyoto Station ) and get off the bus at Kitayama Nakagawa stop.

Time required for your journey : Approximately 1 hour.

★ By a car : Start your tour from Kyoto Minami IC and enter Route 1 toward Route 162. After passing the area of Takao you will come to two tunnels around the area of Nakagawa. Right after going through the first tunnel you will see the road splits in two ways. You will notice a sign written “北山杉の里中川” Kitayama Suginosato ( The home town of Kitayama Cedars ). Turn right at this point before you go through the 2nd tunnel.

Time required for your journey : Approximately 40 to 50 minutes.
