9/12/2013: How do you view yourself as a math student? Discuss your previous math experiences, were they positive...negative...why? Make a goal for yourself about math for this year.
9/20/2013: Explain your understanding of the distributive property. How can you use it as a shortcut for multiplying two whole numbers and give an example (think about the Marvels of Multiplication sheet). How does it work when there are variables? Give at least one example.

10/18/13: Describe what a ratio is and how it is used in making a proportion. Describe what a proportion is and give an example of how it can be used to represent a percent.
11/4/13: Journal, create a scale drawing on graph paper of a room of your choice (can be room 1, your room, whatever). Please include a couple details, like a desk, table, or other big pieces of furniture you would find in it.
