Set Passcode Lock

This is a lock that allows privacy on the iPad for children to use. 

It means your child is the only one to have access to their iPad. 

Please set this up for children if they are in Years 2-6 ONLY.  

Please make sure your child's teacher has this code.

Children are not permitted to change the code without consulting their parents/carer and informing their teacher.

Please no passcodes for Kindergarten or Year 1 Students. 

Activate a simple passcode lock with a four digit number.  

Please use a different number to the restrictions code, for parents use.

How to do it.

Go to Settings

Touch ID & Passcode 

Select Turn Passcode on and enter a passcode 

Please enter a simple 4 digit code for you child to use.

ADD A FINGERPRINT - You may choose to use this option

Touch ID - Use your fingerprint in place of your passcode

Click on 'Add a fingerprint'

Follow the prompts to set up
