The below settings will help protect your child when using the iPad. Please go through each step carefully.
If you need help please ask at school and something can be arranged.

Please Name Your iPad
Clearly label your iPad: on the iPad, on the case and name your iPad in Settings.
To do this go to Setting, General, About
then on the top line simply add your child's full name and class.
1. Go to Settings – Messages.
2. You may need to sign into your iPad using your Apple ID
(NB more information on this see the last step below labelled ***Allow Changes)
You may need to sign in using your Apple ID or password
3. Turn Messages off
1. Go to Settings - Safari
2. Turn Block Pop-ups to off.
How to turn on iPad restrictions
The parental controls provide control over what is available on the iPad.
Please set the restrictions for school as follow:
1.Open Settings
2. Tap Screen Time
3. To set a passcode, tap Use Screen Time Passcode and enter
a four-digit code when prompted.
To change or turn off parental controls, return to this screen, tap Change Screen Time Passcode,
and follow the onscreen prompts.
4. To set content limits, tap Content & Privacy Restrictions.
To Set Restrictions
Use the CONTENT dropdown arrow to find and set restriction.
IMPORTANT
Once the restrictions are in place you will no longer be able to install and delete Apps or add and change an account. Neither will your child which is what we want.
If you need to change something you will have to go to Settings, Screen Time, Use Screen Time Passcode and enter a four digit code, tap Change Screen Time Passcode and follow onscreen prompts
Remember to return the restrictions when you have finished changing or adding what you need.
