iPad Necessities

It is important that you keep a regular check on your child's iPad.  The following tasks need to be attended to regularly.

• • updating the operating system

  • updating all apps

  • checking all the prescribed apps on the list, including recent requests, are uploaded

  • checking settings and restrictions on your child’s iPad to ensure they are still in place

• deleting any unnecessary data (This is particularly important as the iPads can fill up. You can sync your iPad to your computer so no data is lost. Alternatively data can be uploaded to your child's drive account and stored there then photos, videos, BookCreators, other presentations etc may be deleted to free up space on the iPad.)

• checking the iPad case to ensure it is still in good functional condition

• ensuring the iPad is still clearly named

• keeping non-school apps to a minimum and in a separate "Home" folder

• Tabs opened at home should be closed prior to attending school
