Security

iPad SettingsThe school is very conscious of keeping our children safe when using technology.  

We have established setting requirements which need to be in place on the children's iPads before they are allowed to be used at school.

If you are having trouble with the setting requirements please contact the school and we can arrange some help.

iPad Covers

We require a secure cover for every iPad.  For years 3-6 where the children are carrying them to and from school a cover that fully encloses the iPad should be considered.  You may wish to add further protection when inside the school bag to protect from contact with food and drinks: a waterproof pencil case for example.

For younger children a more durable, drop proof cover may be the way to go.  Please keep in mind covers that are very large are more difficult for the teacher to store in our secure trollies.

Travelling to and From School

Children travelling to and from school on public transport must leave their iPads in their school bag.  iPads are not used in the playground unless supervised by the teacher, before or after school, at lunch time or recess.

Security in the Classroom

Classrooms are locked whenever students and teachers are not in the room. Each classroom is equipped with a  iPad trolley or cupboard.  It is expected that every iPad is in that trolley when not in use and always at recess and lunchtime.
