Meets

Participation:  Meet attendance must submitted through the Active Swim Portal.  It must entered by 5:00 pm on Monday before the meet.  Any participation notifications received after this time will be allowed to swim as space allows.   Late notifications will NOT be permitted to  swim on relay teams unless a space is available and enables other swimmers greater participation.

Conduct:  F.A.S.T. swimmers will conduct themselves with the highest level of sportsmanship and respect with all teammates, competitors, coaches, volunteers and spectators.   Unsportsmanlike/disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated and could result in penalties including sitting out the next meet or disqualification from Meet of Champs.  

*Note: Swimmers should never leave their Ready Parent without informing them.  Event schedules can change and the Ready Parent must know where you are at ALL times so that you do not miss your race AND for your safety!

Questions/Problems:  Swimmers should direct all questions/problems to their Ready Parent for assistance.  At NO time should a swimmer approach coaches or meet volunteers directly.  They are busy running the meet.  Your Ready Parent will find a board member for assistance if necessary.

Ribbons:  Ribbons are distributed after all heats of an event are completed.  Ready parents will retrieve the ribbons from a pre-determined location and then distribute to individual swimmers.  

*Note: Swimmers that are disqualified due to a stroke or turn infraction will receive a last place ribbon (based on the # of swimmers in their heat)
