We use a web based program called Reading Eggs to support reading skills. Students may access this website using the link above or visit http://www.readingeggs.com. The username is fmckinley@stvs.org and the password is firstgrade. Students have been using this program all year and know how to navigate the site once they get signed in. We recommend 30 minutes of practice per week day.

Students need to complete 1 reading comprehension worksheet based on a story that they have read. Copies of the worksheet were sent home and can also be accessed by clicking on the link above. Please keep the completed worksheets in their homework folder and return to school when we resume normal classes.

For writing students will write about a fox. The worksheet was sent home and can also be accessed using the link above.

Students should review and practice sight words. We are reviewing the first 300 sight words. Please use the link above to view the sight words or use the pink packet in their homework folder.

Students should practice set S math facts and complete the work book pages. These items were sent home and can also be accessed using the link above.

The link above is for an excellent addition and subtraction trainer. The program will keep repeating math facts until students master them.

Please work on the stations of the cross packet that was sent home and continue practicing 1st grade prayers. Prayers can be found using the link above.

Students should work on creating a weather book to track the weather every day.
