Speech-Language Services for SRPSD Kindergarten Students:

If your child is referred for a speech or language assessment, the Speech-Language Pathologist will send a permission letter home requesting parental consent for a communication assessment. After the student's assessment (given parental consent), the Speech-Language Pathologist may:

• provide home activities for practice, and/or

• work with school staff to help them implement activities that may be appropriate in facilitating your child's speech-language development, and/or

• schedule some individual or small group sessions to work with the student at school.
