Today we will be creating a self portrait that does not use real colors. We will be using the warm and cool color palette.
Red, Yellow. and Orange are the colors of the sun and are considered the warm colors.
Blue, Green, and Purple are considered the cool colors like water.
Step 1. Draw a basic line self portrait
Step 2. Paint base color either dark skin tone or light.
Step 3. When paint is dry about 5 minutes go over and create details using blue paint.
Step 4.Paint warm colors on the raised areas of your face the areas that get the sun. Starting with the red, going to orange then yellow.
Step 5. Paint in the cool areas of the face the areas that recede.
