Kindergarten: Horses Head Collages

What shape is a horse head from a front view? Where are the eyes, nose and mouth? What colors are horses?

TYPES OF HORSES

2nd Grade: Horses in Motion

We will look at motion in art. Horses as a herd running has a lot of motion. We will take out all detail from our horse and look at just the outline creating a positive and negative space stencil of a horse running. Using chalk show how the wind would move around the horses when running.

3rd Butter Sculptures

Butter has been placed in molds, carved, flavored and decorated. During farm show week in PA we always have a large butter sculpture made form average 1,000 pounds of butter. 2013 Butter Sculpture

Chickens

4th Grade: Pencil Drawings of Animals

During Farm show week if you go you will see all types of animals. Animals that live on the farm to animals that live around the farm . The wild animals snakes, hawks, cow bird, down to little mice. Looks at the "fur, wrinkles, scales and feathers" hand out and examples and draw a animal using those pencil and crayons. Don't forget to use your drawing techniques.
