Watch the video about how it had become a pop icon and what it means to people in the new century, who know nothing about the area and culture it was painted in.

Your scream self portrait

Use the scream picture of your self think about colors and media you will use to color yourself. Watercolor, colored watercolor pencil, oil pastel etc. are good choices.

Create a background what are you going to be screaming about? Is it going to be the scream back ground exactly, are you going to change it or add things to it?
