Create your Own self Portrait in the style of Picasso or other Cubism/Abstract artists.

Picasso drew models from many points of view. To draw attention to his composition, he many times limited himself to monochromatic color ( one color plus black and white)

. Other times he would use a three color set plus balck and white such as the primary colors.

1. Make a countour line drawing like in the video of yourself.

build you image use rhythm, movement and balance. Shift eyes, nose, mouth having one a front view and another a a 1/4 view. You can tilt features left, right up, down.

2. Pick a color scheme and stick with it. Use shades and tints on one color (choose no more than 3 colors)

RULES:

do not paint on easel or mirror.

when finished sign name on corner and place on drying rack.

Set up a new piece of paper on easel for next class by taping top corners with a 2 roles of tape.
