Thinking Like a Scientist

Most people still know very little about chimpanzees. This video may surprise you.

In our first lesson for chapter 1 we meet Jane Goodall, a scientist who has devoted most of her life to studying chimpanzees. She began her work as a young woman in 1960 when she traveled to Africa. While she was there, she pioneered many new techniques for learning about these animals who exhibit many similarities to humans. The following documentary explains a great deal about her work.
