Princess Briar-Rose has been born to the King and Queen of Never Nod. Unfortunately, that nasty witch, Evilina, is not invited. She shows up anyway and pronounces her revenge. At age 16, the princess will cut her finger on a spinning wheel and fall into a deep sleep from which she’ll never awake. Some good witches counter the curse by saying the princess can be awakened by the kiss of true love. Evilina is not so easily defeated and, on that fateful birthday, the princess does, indeed, cut her finger on a spinning wheel. This captivating, frolicsome version of the classic has it all — charm, action, romance, comedy, thrills, plus zany and lovable characters.
July 10-19

Each step of her passage brings her face to face with new characters and adventures as well as celebrations when she achieves each aspiration. The lively stage action, zany dialogue, and eclectic mix of toe-tapping tunes will have your audiences grinning like a Cheshire cat!

We’ve all seen fractured fairy tales before, but never quite like this one, which takes a hilarious detour through Robin Hood’s Nottingham and Sherwood Forest! Smart, pretty, and kind, Little Red Robin Hood must deal with the Big Bad Sheriff of the Naughty Hams (the Three Little Pigs, that is!), who do the bidding of Prince John, the vain Emperor who is eager to try on his magic new suit being woven by Cinderella’s deceitful stepsisters. With Humpty Dumpty, Black Sheep, Rose Red, and Simple Simon acting as her Merry Men, Little Red Robin Hood must save all the village grannies of Sherwood Forest, including her own, an old woman who lives in a shoe, Mother Hubbard, and Mother Goose herself. Along the way, she also wins the heart of the Pied Piper — aka Marion — who’s a touring celebrity musician with an armload of different Mary’s as groupies.
August 7-16
This savvy spoof turns the age-old love story into a modern-day bug story with a fresh and original twist! Prince Grasshopper, the top pop idol in Bug City, announces on live TV that he’s seeking a princess to share the spotlight with him and his current sidekick, the no-talent Queen Bea. When naïve caterpillar Cinderella shows up in Bug City wanting to be a star and immediately catches Prince’s eye, Queen Bea seethes with jealousy. She and her cohort Bugsy declare a midnight deadline and do everything possible to shoo Cinderella from the set. Will Queen Bea’s sting get the best of Cinderella, or will the caterpillar keep inching on toward her dream? Kids and adults of all ages will be a-buzz with laughter at this extremely clever, cute-as-a-bug, fast-paced comedy! Not only will funny bones ache, hearts will be lifted with timeless morals about being yourself and never giving up on your dreams.

It’s hard being a girl! Especially in a fairy-tale land where everyone expects you to be a damsel in distress. Well, these four young ladies are just not having it! Our story opens with Isadora, who doesn’t like seeming helpless after being abandoned in the forest by her father. She much prefers feeling strong and self-sufficient, especially once she pulls an ancient sword from a stone! Isadora soon meets Beatrice, a lady-in-waiting, who honestly finds life in the castle quite boring. Winifred joins the spirited pair next, having always lived alone in the forest, concocting potions and practicing spells. The trio is joined by the notorious Masked Maven, a young woman with many secrets. Seeking excitement, the foursome journey on a comical adventure through a fairy-tale land of magic and monsters, royal fanfare and fairies, as they prove they can ably find their own way through the world, strong and independent. Along the way, they encounter angry villagers, arrogant princes, mischievous fairies, and even a dragon or two!
