MAINSTAGE DESIGNERS & ARTISTS
South Park Theatre is currently hiring designers, painters, and stage managers for its 2026 Mainstage Season.
- Designer pay ranges from a $250-$400 stipend depending on the production and the applicant's experience. Time commitment includes 4 production meetings (2 over zoom, 1 in-person), a designer run-though, and up to three days of tech rehearsals.
- Painter pay rages from $150-$275 depending on the project.
- Stage Manager pay ranges from $600-$650 depending on experience.

CHILDREN'S THEATRE DESIGNERS & EDUCATORS
South Park Theatre is currently hiring for its 2026 Children's Theatre Season & Education Programs. All staff members 18 years of age and older are required to send in up-to-date copies of Pennsylvania State Clearances to work with children (History of Child Abuse & Criminal Background Check).
Production Directors, Camp Directors/Assistant Directors, Theatre Class Instructors are available throughout the year. Please send an email for more information on these positions to see what is currently available.
Directors schedule all rehearals. They also attend all performances, auditions, and a pre-season meeting. This job also includes pay for designing properties for the production. Pay is $600 per production.
Designer pay ranges from a $200-$500 stipend depending on the production's needs and the applicant's experience. Time commitment includes 1 production meeting (in-person preferred) and up to two days of tech rehearsals at minimum. Additional time may be needed based on the position/production. For example: Sound Designers operate the sound board for all performances.
Designers & Directors work on the outdoor stage over the summer season and indoor stage for the fall season.
Stage Manager pay ranges from $125-$300 depending on applicant's experience. Teen/Young Adult Counselors for our summer camps have a paid stipend of $125-$150 depending on the length of camp. These are great opportunities for high school or college age students.

SPT Teen Ambassadors Program (for kids currently in high school or 1st year of college)
Front of house assistance for all performances (Open to teens and adults. Please note that 13/14 year old students may volunteer alone with a parent's permission).
