A package tour is being prepared for our swimmers and parents. The package includes airline tickets departing Haneda on Friday April 25th and returning on Monday, April 28th. Hotel arrangements can be organized. Nima-san of Nimnak Travel will be making

Swimmers traveling with their parents may make their own flight arrangements. If traveling with their parents, they may also make

their own hotel arrangements. All other swimmers must stay with the group.

Friday April 25th    ANA Flight # 869     departs Haneda             9:55 am 

                                                                      arrives Manila               1:30 pm 

Monday April 28th    ANA Flight # 870     departs Manila               2:40 pm 

                                                                         arrives Haneda               7:55 pm 

We are fortunate to continue to receive generous support from the St. Mary’s Association. This year the SMA will provide a 25,000

yen travel allowance for each St. Mary’s student participating in the Manila meet. Once again we would like to thank the SMA for all

their hard work and assistance.

MANILA SPRING MEET 2014

Saturday 26TH and Sunday 27th April 2014

International School Manila and Sailfish Swim Team invite your team to the Manila Spring Meet 2014.   

Entries:

Entry is $25USD per swimmer, and may enter up to six individual events and 2 relays during the meet.  Age Group of swimmer determined on Saturday 26TH April 2014. Entries are Due Wednesday 2nd of April.

Hotels

Quality hotels closest to ISM are Seda Hotel and Best Western F1 Hotel these are both new Hotels and within 500m (walking distance to school).

Further away in Makati central area are higher end hotels; Dusit Thani, Intercontinental, Peninsula, Fairmont, New World, Shangri La Makati and Ascot Hotels.

Awards:

Overall Champions Team Trophy - will award the Team who accumulates the most points,

Individual High Point Trophies - will be awarded to the top three swimmers from each age group,

FINA High Point Trophy – will award the top Male/Female swimmer with the most FINA Points from an individual event, 

Medals will be presented to the top three finishing places of each age group,

Ribbons - will be presented to places four to eight,

Heat Winner Ribbons - will also be presented to the winner of each heat.

Catering:

A wide variety of food selections will be offered. ISM cafeteria will be open during the meet for food and drink purchases.

Events/Age Groups/Points

Age Groups are Under 8, 9/10, 11/12, 13/14, and 15 & Over. 

Individual Age Group Points will be awarded to each age group in all 13&Over, 11 &Over, 10& Under events.

Over all Team Points- Only the top three swimmers per team per event will count towards the overall team point standings.

Relays -score double points for the team and only the fastest team per club/team will count towards points.

Standard Point Score set up will be used with the top 16 places awarded points.
