College & Career Representatives - Please click here to sign up to give a presentation at SDA.

The SDA Counseling Office is a busy and active place working to assist students. School Counselors spend time meeting with students discussing academics, college and career plans, and assisting with social/emotional needs.

We are available before school, at lunch, or after school without an appointment. Drop in to see us regarding any topic!

If students need to see a counselor for something urgent or serious, tell your teacher and come directly to the counseling office any time.

For parents needing an appointment, please contact Chelsea Levron.

Office hours: 7:30am - 3:30pm

Taking Care of Business Days - Course Change Requests

Student Course List Review - You will be able to view your student’s course list in Aeries starting Monday, August 10.

Course change requests - If your student has questions, concerns, or requests related to their course list, please complete the 2020 FALL COURSE CHANGE REQUEST FORM. It should be noted that:

  • Requests should be for course changes. Students/parents cannot choose periods, teachers, or terms

  • Do not complete the form and email your counselor. All requests should be processed through the form linked above

  • All schedules are tentative and subject to change based on the needs of the master schedule

  • Please be patient with your counselor as they are processing these as quickly as possible

The 2020 Fall Course Change Request Form will close on Friday, August 14 at 4:00 pm. Any student schedule questions or concerns remaining after this deadline will be addressed after the start of school on Tuesday, August 25. We appreciate your patience during our transition to a digital format for these requests.
