Dear Student Athletes,
Another year of Colonie High School Tennis is upon us. We will be holding tryouts for the fall season on: Monday, August 18th; Tuesday, August 19th, and Wednesday, August 20th from 8:30 A.M. - 10:30 A.M. For those selected to be on either the Junior Varsity (should we have enough girls) or Varsity team, practice will continue to be from 8:30 A.M. through 10:30 A.M. for the week of August 25th. Our first match will be at Shenendehowa on Friday, August 29th at 11:00 A.M. Once the school year begins, practice session times will be posted on our team web site: https://sites.google.com/a/southcolonie.k12.ny.us/colonietennis/
If you are a middle school student trying out for the team, please review the link below.

It will be necessary to contact the athletic office to set up an appointment to be evaluated by certified physical education staff members.
In the event of rain, please check the above web site for any additional information that may be posted about cancellations or rescheduled practice sessions/matches.
Please be prepared for tryouts with a racquet, water bottle, and appropriate attire. If you have a “self-administer” type medication such as an inhaler or Epi-Pen, please be sure to have completed the appropriate form at the heath office and advise the coach of the location of your medicine.
In addition, if you have not already done so, please make sure you have been cleared by the health office prior to tryouts. If you are not cleared, you may not tryout.
It will also be necessary for you to complete the "Pre Try Out Survey" posted on the home page of the web site. Should you not have internet access, student athletes should request a paper copy of this document on the first day of try-outs.
